Hi guys, bit of advice please.
I've recently bought a sofa and carpet from scs, we've had it since 1st jean and recently been told we're not paying enough. It seems all the paperwork they have done and we've signed for is for just the couch and not the carpet.
They now want us to go in and sort it out. Thing is I'd now have to have another credit check and a new finance for just the carpet
Do I have rights as it's there fault or do I have to pay
Thanks

Is it obvious from the paperwork that your credit/payments cover only the sofa?
As I see it, they can't force you to pay them more if the contract is worded to infer that all the goods are encompassed ... at least not without going to court, and even then they'd not be guaranteed to win their claim. (In any consumer contract, if there is any dubiety in the contract then the interpretation that favours the consumer takes precedence).0
