Appealing a CPM parking ticket - still no response!

Hey, I hope you can help.
I have read the sticky notes and its a minefield so apologies in advance if I'm missing something you've already discussed here.
I received a parking ticket from CPM after parking out of a designated space on 17th March, I appealed straight away and didn't receive a response, unfortunately the first letter I sent I didn't send via recorded delivery so I sent a follow up letter recorded, on the 23rd April. I still haven't received a response..... what should I do next? Nothing? Wait to receive something from them?

Complain to the bpa you got no response within the 14 day timeframe, and no resolution within the 35 day timeframe. That way, if they try and pretend they posted you something, you have a paper trail to prove you never received it.

Hi EmmieP,
There are a number of threads on the forum that say if you send mail that needs to be signed for, some of the parking companies won't sign it, so it never gets officially received. These threads suggest sending it with "certified proof of posting" which is free at any post office. This way you have immediate proof of posting that doesn't rely on another person co-operating at the other end. Do you know if your second letter sent recorded delivery has been signed for?New members, please refer to "sticky" threads that are alwasys "stuck" at the top of this forum0 -
Yes the Post office tracking system said it was delivered: "Your item with reference KF757098006GB was delivered from our LANCING Delivery Office on 24/04/14 "
So I guess I should contact the BPA now too?0 -
Yes complain to the BPA. The BPA have the authority to intervene if they choose to do so and instruct the parking company to respond to your appeal in which case if they reject it you will get a POPLA code.
At the very least as hoohoo has said you will have a paper trail showing you have appealed and they have not responded which will come in useful should the PPC start sending out debt collectors letters.0 -
Thanks for you help everyone, I'll let you know if I hear anything! :undecided0
