Cut all contact with your wife. Contact a solicitor. Keep in mind that you'll most likely come out of this with a criminal record.

I was arrested the following day banged up for 11 hours. The cps have chosen to take me to court. Whatb should I do and what do I expect as punishment. I have no violent/verbal abusive history and have never been in trouble before. Thanks in advance.

Be careful of this vixen , seems she is trying to set you up and get you in trouble and maybe use it to get keeping your son, get good legal help and they will support you. Good Luck.

I am shocked that it is making it to court, my sister was followed around and harassed for months and received messages from someone on Facebook saying she was going to kill her and the police said without witnesses they could not do anything and said they didn't get involved in Facebook disputes (they laughed when Facebook was mentioned)

I understand you were upset and hopefully the courts will see it was just said in the heat of the moment.
