Tesco clubcard points

Just tried to buy something from Tesco Direct. Entered my clubcard number. Won't accept it.

Now, OH bought something from them a little while ago, and the points went on to my clubcard. He obviously used his own e-mail address. It was not flagged up that this was not his card, or that once this card was registered to his e-mail address, it couldn't be used on my e-mail address. So now Tesco Direct won't let me use my own card on my own e-mail address.

How daft is that?

Log in with your husband's email address and change it over to yours. Simple.

Just order using his account? If he has a clubcard, merge the two together. Simple 😀

Its to prevent fraud by the card being registered twice to separate people.

I noticed this with a friend. I did online shopping for them and couldn't use their clubcard to pay. They didn't have a credit card so used MY account and basically just gave them some money off vouchers when they came through.

    Not 'daft' at all.
You didn't set up a Tesco dot com account before - either to check your points/vouchers or to do on-line transactions.
However, when your OH did he ensured that you got the points from his transaction.
You couldn't have two email addresses to one card - suppose they were trying to use the vouchers at the same time!!

As CG19a pointed out - log-on with his email address and password - go into my account (on Food & Groceries - not Clubcard) and amend the email address.
    NBD.
I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard

We ended up with more than one Club card, and I phoned them, and they merged them, combining all the points.

Love their FuelSave thing - saved 20p per litre filling up the tank last month, and the same again yesterday.:T
