Hi,
I booked a coach your around New Zealand for July this year through STA travel. Unfortunately since then have split with my girlfriend who I was meant to be going with. So I am no longer going. She has offered to buy the place off of me but STA travel say I can not change the name and have to lose 50% of the price if I get a refund. Can anyone explain my statutory rights the pass was purchased less than 3 months ago.

Go anyway - it's a coach tour, hang around with the other people, make new friends, have a holiday romance! Things can't be that evil between you if she's offered to buy you out, can you tolerate each others company as friends for a few weeks? Might be missing out on a really good holiday here.0
