You have a good argument that the guarantee agreement is invalidThe guarantor form was witnessed. It was sent to me by post by my daughter. Only her name is on it in the Tenant space. She has not been given a copy of the tenancy agreement although she can see it on the Agents website.
* Yes, your signature was witnessed, you say, but
* you did not know what you were commiting yourself to (no tenancy agreement)
* the GA commited you to guarantee a sole tenancy (daughter) whereas in fact the tenancy was joint
a) what does it commit you to? Is the rent stated? The full property rent or your daughter's share?
b) Still unclear if it was a Deed. Does it say 'deed' anywhere?0
