Thank you ever so much to everyone who responded, it is most appreciated. Just logged in to see it all and am most grateful to you all.
Yes it was the 2 litres of water that was bothering me, mainly because I don't know what to use to pour the water in or if when I pour it in, will the water go down or just sit in the compartment?
@wallbash, actually my OH installed me so certainly not professional. He also did his own one and his parents one and their washing machine has been running fine for over 5 years without worry. However, when I told him about the transit bolt, he's now worried and wants to take it out and double check it. He is sure he didn't notice any as it came unpacked all ready to install but slight possibility. I really don't want him to pull the washing machine out. Is there any other way of knowing whether the bolts have been taken out or not without pulling the washing machine out. I heard the bolts are there to keep the drum in place. If the drum moves freely, do I assume the bolts aren't there?
@Vetyver - actually, yes my washing machine did come with water inside it. I thought it was used too! Lol. And some of the text is already missing from the washing machine. It was also dirty and muddy. I have wiped most of it off.0 -
first wash = normal amount of washing powder/liquid, the hottest wash it can do, it's to get rid of the grease they use to make it, don't worry about pouring water into it
transit bolts = open the door & see if the drum moves up & down ? if it won't move at all the bolts are still in, there are normally three, plus look inside underneath there is normally packaging under there to removeI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0
