Peel centre stockport - excel parking services please need advise

Hi,
Basically i went to peel centre stockport as i was going to a birthday meal - i arrived at least 20 mins before the time ended on the parking tickets - as you can guess i didn't pay.
I have heard of Excel before and thought id double check before i paid - I've read a lot about this company all bad.
too cut a long story short i had lived away from home for a couple of months and decided to come back and live with my parents.
I had tons of letter as my mum never opened these as they were addressed to myself - i came across letters from excel saying i had to pay charges and if not it would go up after some many weeks i read through the next set of letters, i then came across letters from a company called Newlyn a debt collector who were threatening with court and now bailiffs.
Due to this i had miss the appeal stage and informed newlyn of my situation in which they said i have to take it up with Excel i have sent them an email which they have not replied!!
Could someone please advise me on what i need to do.
Really appreciate anything.
Thanks

nothing much you can do apart from sending in the template appeal to excel listed in the NEWBIES thread
if you also read all of that thread there is a full post regarding debt collectors and their letters, they cannot do a thing , only excel or the landowner
if you get a LBC or court papers, that is when you need to act , these will likely be from excel and not the debt collectors and not from peel holdings either0 -

Certainly don't pay it now, not with Newlyn pretending it's gone up to a silly figure.
Hope your email didn't say who was driving? Not the best plan.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
