Amazon claim

The fiasco continues
After many phone calls and now emails back and forward, still no further. I got through to someone who agreed it shouldnt have been processed and they raised a claim for me
Received an email this morning, I though wow, that was quick but the email said I have to click on a sign in link... I CANT IVE NO ACCOUNT
I received an other email back from one which I originally sent out... They didnt answer my questions at all. They said I didnt reply to the claim within 7 days so it was automatically awarded to the buyer. Again, I said how could I as I donthave an account. They said I dont have a buyer account but seller account IS still active. How can it be when I closed my account down and remade one again recently with the same details?
Also, why award the buyer 7 months after purchase. I will be taking this further for sure.0 -
how exactly was your account 'deleted' ?
as far as I can see there is no option to 'delete' an account yourself0 -
Yes, there is no button but I do remember off the top of my head you email Amazon and they email you back asking are you are. You say yes and thats it... I think. I could be wrong but you can close your account for sure.
Edit: Just found this on a quick google
"Note: etc etc etc. To close your account, please contact us to request that your account be closed."
Even if there is some weird loophole about my account... thats doesnt account for a refund 4 months after the refund deadline of 90 days.
Upon further checking, upon closing account your seller account does indeed close. Yet, 3 emails say it stays open. What a load of nonsense. They are completely making this up as they go along0
