using www.rent4days for an apartment in barcelona

there is a really nice apartment on this webiste that fits our budget, but the reviews on tripadvisor for the service are a little scary. i know it's been a webiste recommended on here, but all by one person.... i don't doubt that they received great service from them, but i wondered if anyone else has used them to get some more opinions. just a bit nervous about using them after reading a couple of people's comments saying to avoid at all costs!

I just read your comment concerning Rent4Days! We're going to Barcelona as well next week, and some friends advised us to book with Rent4Days because they were very satisfied with their services, plus their apartments seem to be very convenient and cosy.

I have no experience with them up til now, but I'll keep you informed about our stay!

Hi everyone,
well yeah, I just saw it as well :rotfl:, it's just that I've done a search on the internet about the company and this page also come out as one of the results!

Well then, for the stay: we (me and my husband) went one week to Barcelona and stayed in the Port Olympic apartment, and it was the first time I went to barcelona so I was quite nervous about all of it, but it all went EXCELLENT! The apartment was great, spacious, with a lot of natural light coming in, the kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were comfty, and most important, the apartment was located in a very nice area as well, so ideal for making large evening strolls!
We asked for some extra towels and they were delivered even the same day at our apartment, and check-ins and outs all went very smoothly, so we were more then satisfied with our stay, so if someone who is reading this wants to go to Barcelona and has no idea how to look for a place to stay, I can surely advise you Rent4Days!
