Wow, that is really amazing. Well done!

Stories like this add really add perspective when some 21 year olds with no other worries and top A-Levels still only walk out with 2:2's.

People like you make the rest of us (like me) feel so inadequate.

Well done: above all for being a good single parent.

    That's brilliant. Well done!
When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.

  • just read this - you are a credit to your family and your kids and you should be very proud of yourself! well done you:beer:
  • A real inspiration.

I went to uni at 18 but dropped out due to severe illness. Despite me being very academic I never went back & decided that I would try & get a successful career without a degree.

After 5 years I've made nowhere near the progress I would have liked. I've not done badly but I'm in a job I don't like, earning much less than all my friends who are now graduates & I've found out that I've got 1 year before being made redundant.

I've been deliberating going back for about 3 years but decided I couldn't afford it, might not get on with anyone due to being older, might not manage to get a good grade, etc ,etc.

My partner graduated this year despite having loads of health problems throughout including discovering a tumour in her neck during the 2nd year. I came very close to tears during the graduation ceremony I was so proud of her.

I'm genuinely inspired. How can I claim that I'd have any reason to worry when people like yourselves have coped so admirably? I'm 99% sure I'll be spending a lot more time on these boards from September time!
