Janome 5000Q and online sewing machines

So first does anyone have any experience of this machine - I've had a very basic Janome for about 20 years and it's done great but doing more quilting and other sewing now think I need something a bit better, drawn to this as there are 'free' quilting accessories with it.

Second, anyone any experience of this company. All seems too good to be true (and I know it then often is!!). 15 years guarantee, free servicing, 30-day trial etc. Have scoured their website which appears kosher (few dodgy typos but what the heck!), and I've spoken to them on the phone and they were more than helpful.

I think that this company is Cooper Sewing Machines Ltd. Check their company registration number on Companies House Website and then Google Cooper Sewing Machines

Coopers have a really bad reputation, have a look at their reviews on the sewing forum, they were featured on watchdog last year, fine when selling you a machine but their aftercare is appalling, not willing to help when things go wrong, the owner being threatening and foul mouthed ranting at customers etc, plenty of poor reviews if you look for them, so beware

This is why this forum/site is so good.

I'm now looking at an alternative on Sewing Machines Direct which appear to have a better reputation - and the price is similar too!
