Tomatoes in gravel boxes

Hiya
After reading about the technique in a book I've decided to try growing some of my tomatoes in gravel boxes. The question I've got is about feeding them. Last year I used tomorite mixed in with the water in the watering bottles (I used plastic bottles on spikes), obviously with the gravel box technique I'm not going to be watering them directly so I wondered what would be the best way to feed them?
Thanks in advance

it's essentially hydroponics - I'd assume you'd need to keep the medium wet at all times (but not necessarily under water). Not my area of expertise though.Tim0

So basically it's a pot (in this case a Morrison's flower bucket with drainage holes drilled in the bottom) sitting on top of a layer of gravel in a polystyrene box (the sort that broccoli comes in) with drainage holes on the side. The pot is filled with soil from a grobag and the box has water added to it. The idea is that the plant will grow tap roots down, through the drainage holes and into the gravel, which is kept permanently wet.
Having a read it looks like I'll be fine with a weekly surface feed in water.0
