Barclays re evaluate PPI claim from 18 months ago

Is anyone else seeing this? Barclays have recalculated my PPI claim I made from 18 months ago and returned me more money, they stated they didn't calculate interest & charges correctly. I didn't prompt this action directly, however I did send the standard letter from this site about a month back requesting all corrispondence on my account as I was looking into how much they have been charging me for my overdraft over the years. Coincidence the paymant was made after my request for this or were they jumping the gun on any claim I would have made?
