This is a great question! I love the smell of a new book and the way it feels in your hands as you flip through the pages. However, using a kindle is good for night time reading and makes reading a lot more fun. However, I am very traditional so I do not have a kindle myself, but I've always wanted to try it! Let me know what you think!

You can have both. Owning an E-Reader does not mean that you have to abandon physical books.

Someone mentioned earlier in the thread that they liked the anonymity of E-Readers, that when using it in public no one knew what you were reading. But the flip side is when you read a book in public it sometimes starts up human interaction as people comment on the book you are reading. For many people this may be part of the pleasure of reading a physical book.

I definitely do. I find speed reading very stressful really as I read super fast and take in the detail at the same time. That is why over the years I have hardly ever bought books as it always seemed a complete waste of money to me to buy a book that would be finished a few hours later. From what I have read on here I am definitely getting a kindle so I will be able to read several books at the same time.
