Building over public sewer - extension

I get your drift. Beautiful pictures. You can't rod from there - the rods will hit the wall before they go down, iyswim. And you can't can't point the Y section the other way as it hits foundation.

Thought I would post back for others benefit in future. You are right Doozegirl... we can't move the inspection chamber as it wouldn't be in line with current run of the sewer.
Looks like our only option that won't set us bankrupt is to build over the current inspection chamber and have it accessible in the kitchen. This was our worst fear as we know someone who had this done and a) their kitchen stank and they've had all sorts of trouble, plus b) the access cover looks horrible.
On top of this we are trying to workout rainwater drainage flows and where to position sewer pipes from the house. The kitchen layout itself is also becoming a nightmare as there will be an awkwardly positioned RSJ beam that makes the space difficult for furniture etc.
We are now thinking about forking out for an architect to help us find the most elegant solution. I feel they will save us some money and heart-ache in the long run!

I feel like a doom-monger here. Will they let you do that? I don't think they or building control allow internal access at all now, even double-sealed.
How wide is your house? Is it possible to make it smaller so the IC sits outside?
Do the neighbours have ICs?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Not sure if its any help but we recently had to apply for a buildover agreement with TW and they let us go 100mm from the sewer despite stating 600mm in their official guidelines. Guessing that doesn't help much as you would still lose too much of the extension by coming in enough to have the IC outside it, but thought I'd mention it. TW were very helpful.0
