confuesed with ppi

Hi im new ,sorry ive not read all the pages . Im so confused . I have went to ppi lot . But the problem is with black horse . They say I need a account no or reference no . And the loan finish in 07 . .My bank says they don't have,and that's rubbish . I shredded paperwork .What else can I do . As I called black horse .The told get in touch with my bank . im going round the twist .Tired

It sounds like the Bank have destroyed their records too. You can spend £10 on a Subject Access Request (SAR) letter, but from what you say it doesn't appear very promising..

Thank you for replying . What's a SAR letter . But going to call few people today see what happens. The only thing I can find is bank statement with black horse and the amount .And its was dd. See what happens .

I called back horse and the people I got my loan from . They say I have right come in see them they would try find out something ,but couldn't promise .Its agreement ref no . They what .which ill trip down back again get told im talking rubbish . So is it worth doing one of these letters .I just hope flipping worth in the end .

You'll only know when you receive your reply whether the information you require is still available.

If your agreement was with Black Horse, you will probably be successful as it was probably a single prmeium loan [if you can find the agreement number - send the SAR]
If however, it was with a third party, such as a car dealership, and it was sold prior to 2005, the chances are practically zero because BH will have no liability for the sale.
