Premier Claims Plus

Hi
About 3 years ago (before I knew better!) I made a PPI claim through Premier Claims Plus to MBNA. MBNA have finally written to me with settlement. In their letter they say Premier Claims Plus has gone into liquidation and are no longer licensed by the Ministry of Justice meaning they are no longer able to manage a complaint on my behalf.
Can anyone help me with this. Is this true because it is the first I have heard of this even though Premier Claims have tried to keep me updated with what's happening with my claim? Should I still make payment to them (which I am happy to do).
Any info would be gratefully received
Many thanks.

If they have lost their licence, there maybe an argument that you may not need to pay them as they would have been acting outside of their authorisations.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
