1. Each prize draw winner will be entitled to receive one Nest Thermostat which will be professionally installed at the winner’s property. To be eligible for the prize you must be a homeowner with a compatible and fully working central heating system and boiler and Wifi connectivity. Nest is not suitable for the following customers - those with electric storage heaters as their primary heating system, those with electric under-floor heating systems and those with biomass boilers.
2. The prize is one of five Nest Learning Thermostats, with standard installation included. Further terms and conditions for the prize are set out below. Subject to point 3 below, the winners of the prize will be the first five eligible entries drawn at random on or after the 19 May 2014.
3. The Nest Learning Thermostat is not compatible with all boilers and the associated infrastructure. If you are one of the entries drawn at random, npower will contact you and carry out a pre screening check to determine whether your boiler system is potentially eligible for a Nest Thermostat. If the Promoter determines, in its absolute discretion, that your boiler system is not eligible, you will not be eligible to receive the prize and another entry will be drawn at random.
4. The prize includes npower standard installation only. Some boiler systems may not be eligible for npower standard installation as a result of unforeseen complexities. npower may not be able to be determine this until installation at your property. If your property is not eligible for npower standard installation, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative prize of an equivalent or higher value, at the Promoter’s absolute discretion.
5. The prize draw is open to UK residents only (excluding Northern Ireland) who are aged 18 or over only. The Promoter is Npower Northern Ltd.
6. Employees of the Promoter and its associated companies in the npower group and their immediate families or anyone else professionally connected with the prize draw are excluded from the prize draw.
7. The closing date of the prize draw is 11 May 2014. Entries received after that date will not be considered.
8. Entry is online through npower.com only. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries that are delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of transmission is not proof of receipt by the Promoter.
