tax credits an loss of job

Hi. I recently moved in with my partner, I have a child from previous relationship an was claiming tax credits under the 16 hour ruling. My partner moved in an I informed them within the time period they sent new form in January. My partner couldn't find his p60 for the previous year so we thought wed wait until this April. April is here an he has lost his job, he will be paid until august as a good will from his employer. I am pregnant an have been on the sick and have applied for maternity allowance. What shall we do regarding tax credits ?we really need them know more than ever as he won't get a wage an I'll just get maternity allowance. And if we do qualify what shall we write about his employment . I really could do wit some help an good luck right now ' thanks

Ring them and explain what you just have. They will then tell you what you need to do - but you should have told them that he lost his job in APRIL not half way through may; I foresee an overpayment coming.

Hi' partner has been paid all 3months wage all at once. But no p45. Received the tax credit form, do I put employment down or leave it blank. Not sure when other half will get a job an is thinking of applying for JSA contributions based. I am waiting for maternity allowance to be processed, its been 3weeks since I applied. Apart from the final wage saving we have no income at present.

It was a letter from the hmrc saying if my wage for last year was between 7-13k I didn't need to contact them. If my wage was outside these figures to ring them an tell them the figure. It stated my details and that I had stopped claiming as an in individual on the date I informed them.

I have filled in a joint claim bout three weeks ago wit both our salary detail in for last year, but not heard anything back regarding g this new claim.

The letter say at bottom its TC603R.
I have recieved a calculation for this year based on our combined in of last year which is £7506 mine an £17600 partners. And they deciede we are not entitled. They have missed that we recieve dla for our child. Partner had no employment at moment (details I left blank for that reason just put in salary). Also we have just had a baby only few days ago. I am on materniry allowance from 5th June 2014 till 07 feb 15.I was/are in a contract for 16 hours. Will they back date claim with these details from date I mafe claim as I couldnt put on the form im rexieving maternity allowance . Partner got no job an we have a baby on way . Is there any thing else we can get. I been told I can get fresh start vouchers as we may be entitled to child tax credit only ?
