Parking eye at it again

Hi all,

I have recently received a parking charge notice from parking eye for parking eye for parking 79 minutes over the aloud 2free hours in a morrisons car park in hastings.

I have read many forum pages giving advice not to pay and completely ignore the fine. Others have said to appeal the charge and give terms on which to challenge the PCN on but am still unsure on which is best way to approach this as I have read a lot about parking eye just disregarding appeals and continuing to try fine people.

Any help would be great please people.
Thanks in advance

use the template to appeal and ask for a POPLA code if you lose the appeal

    then same to POPLA

By this I assume you mean "appeal to POPLA". Note that the POPLA appeal is not the same as the PPC appeal.

stop calling it a FINE is the first thing you need to do , its an invoice !

then you only need to read, digest , understand and follow the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of the foroum , appeal , if its not cancelled then use their POPLA code to appeal to popla on legal grounds

the initial appeal to PE is in that NEWBIES thread

That advice changed in 2013 when there was a change in the law . The advice now is to appeal (unless you are in Scotland). You have to appeal to Parking Eye first and if that fails then you appeal to POPLA. Many experienced posters on here have stated that 100% of the appeals to POPLA that have been done with their help have been successful.

I got a parking charge notice from Parking Eye for a 4 hour overstay a few weeks ago. I was going to pay the charge but the wonderful people :A:A:A:A:A on this forum persuaded me not to. I used the template on the Newbies thread (adding to the reasons for the appeal that, "The driver was a genuine shopper (see attached receipts) and also used onsite cafes for both lunch and supper"). I received an email from Parking Eye today stating that they had cancelled the charge. :j:j:j:j
