parking charge notice

Hi,

This is the first time Ive been on here as i had seen previous posts on parking fines, so needed some help.

I just received a parking charge notice as i failed to display a permit on a private land. I had left my vehicle at 11am and was issued the notice at 11:25am as stated on the notice. I work above in the building at a gym where I had literally went in my workplace to collect my wages and sort some paperwork out. As i don't work much my boss send I he can't give me a permit but I have been parking there every time i work. And out of all the days i have parked there today wa the first time I had been give a parking charge notice.

The company is Global Protection Ltd T/A IG Security. It states a charge of £100 however if paid within 14 days its reduced to £60. The website to make payment is paymypcn.net.

Is there anything i can do to not pay as most notices as just money making scams. Can someone help in how to proceed further?

Thanks

You can help yourself by reading the 'Newbies' thread at the top of the parking forum which gives you everything you need in order to appeal successfully against this charge.
  • I don't really understand it, as it's quite hard to follow.

So basically appeal it by using the template provided am i right?

What is hard to follow from the flowchart? I can't think of anything that explains the process more easily.

But yes - use the template (to appeal to the PPC). Edit it to insert your particular details. But if this was a windscreen ticket and this was your own vehicle (not a company/lease car), either wait for the NtK or appeal now but as the registered keeper not the driver.
