Butlins £15 sun holidays entertainment passes

Hiya,
I have found a previous post about this topic but wondering if anyone has been on a sun £9.50/ £15 holiday this year and if they bought entertainment passes or not.
I know when I have been and paid full price previously we were never given any wristbands or passes so I'm wondering if we need to purchase these or not? I'm particularly concerned about the new splash waterworld if we can get in there without buying them? I have taken the passes off as my initial though was that we never had any before so how will they tell. But I don't want to get there and not be able to get into things such as swimming funfair etc.
Oh we are going to the skegness butlins.

Skeggy may be a decidedly strange place but I'm not aware of its being booted out of the UK yet...?
The main UK Holidays Forum might be a much better place to ask!0 -
No passes needed for swimming or funfair, just clubs and shows, I've been on Sun hol here before and another next week and don't buy them x0
