Charles Stanley Direct - Paying Fees

You'll need to fill out and sign a form, a direct debit mandate, then post it back to them. Not available to download directly but a secure message or phone call will get them to send via email or post.
That's for pulling money in, whether you then trade with that money manually or via the monthly investment schedule is your choice.
Money is pulled in via DD on the 3rd and scheduled trades then happen on the 10th each month.
Or they accept bank transfers or debit card payments to the account.
Seems flexible enough to me.'We don't need to be smarter than the rest; we need to be more disciplined than the rest.' - WB0 -
If you go to the "Monthly Investing" page under My Dashboard, My Direct Accounts - there is a DD mandate form at the bottom of the page you can download and fill out.
Once you have sent them the mandate you can update the amount via secure messages.0 -

Thanks for that, although I don't seem to be able to see (or find) the option. Any chance of a screen capture showing where it should be?
Perhaps it's something that only appears once you've set up a monthly investment, which I haven't yet.0 -

It seems not - I 'phoned CS this morning, and was told the charges will come only from the ISA.....
A tad annoying for me, as I paid cash in to my dealing account a while ago specifically to fund the Charles Stanley fees.
Yay !
I received this message from CSD this morning....
" You may be interested to know that we are now able to arrange to deduct your ISA platform fees directly from your Investment Account, meaning that you do not need to arrange a monthly transfer. If you would like us to designate your Investment Account as a fees account, I would be very grateful if you would reply to this email requesting for us to do so."0
