Alton Towers tickets, could they be void?

Hi, I listed some tickets on ebay ( barcode not visible) and they were moved due to copy right, in the end I sold them on facebook, is there any chance they could be voided??? I would feel awful if they were refused thanks in advance

You need to check the small print on the tickets. If they say Non-Transferable then they would be. However unless they have your details on them or they are e-tickets connected to your personal details I don't see how there would be a problem.

If Alton Towers can see the codes - they will cancel them - if not, then no, theres nothing they can do.

Quite a few on here last year that arrived and were refused entry due to the fact Alton Towers had cancelled the tickets.

Last year I tried to sell some sun free tickets on E bay somebody kept reporting me and E bay cancelled the auction as sun free tickets say not for re sale

Many of the people that say tickets were refused at the gate go along have a great day at the park and then come home complain that tickets were no good and get their money back

when they tickets got pulled for the second time I gave them away to save any hassle

Ebay don't allow the sale of any tickets issued free.

A bit daft, as one person doesn't want them - and someone else does. But its to stop people getting them just to sell. But as they send you random dates - its not always possible for the person to go.

EVIESMUMMY - you say it was copyright. Did you use any photos or logos that belong to Alton Towers? Because that's a seperate issue.

I've been selling AT tickets on ebay for years. I have had one or 2 removed, but then have just relisted them later on.

Last year, after I had sold them and received the money/posted them, I ahd an email saying 2 of my listings had been removed due to breach of rules, and fees refunded. They refunded my FV fees!! lmao. very silly!

I never post a picture though of the tickets. Also if you use their Alton towers logo, they do complain about that and call it breaching copyright.

What annoys me is, I sell a few sets of tickets, and then buy 2 sets with the same day on so all 4 of us can go, and hopefully I have covered the petrol, also, so not really making much, just doing it to get a free day out. yet people can buy up concert tickets and sell them for ten times the price. how is that OK????

No-one has ever said they've been unable to use them, either, by the way. but as I said, I don't publish a pic of them :)

Remember that each of those warnings, whether FVFs are refunded or not count as a breach. A small seller needs as few as 5 strikes per year before getting restricted/suspended.so to cover your petrol costs you might well lose your ability to remain on eBay.

I don't think people are fully understanding the new metric strike rules that are coming into affect in a few months and which for those on an annual review are already in the pot to be counted.

They are sent in date order. So april , may etc. But looks like all dates have now been sent. Hopefully, not lost in post - and just one of last lots they sorted.

You did use 3 different addresses?

Also, if you blatantly re-list a removed item within three months and are caught - its bye bye :hello:
