Hi there
The turf at my house was never any good and just wouldnt mow well (uneven ground and terrible thin meadow grass), so I decided to pull it all up and start from scratch.
Ive disposed of the turf and have some new turf on order.
Ive started to prep the ground by raking and have literally had to sieve the first few inches of ground/top soil as the amount of stones, rocks, boulders, house bricks and general hardcore was unbelievable.
As you can see from my attached images my garden slops top to bottom and also slightly left to right a little.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I'm going to be able to get this flat / level before I put down some new top soil before laying the new turf?
Thanks in advance.

Not 100% sure I get your drift, but to make it truly level you'd need a surround of bricks/sleepers then back-fill with soil.
I'd just walk up and down using heels, rake the high spots, walk, rake to smooth out the surface and live with the overall slope.0 -
My view ( for wot its worth ) is the silly little beds on each side. They are so slim, looks like an after thought.
Would have put a mowing strip certainly on the right against the fence.
But you didn't ask for thoughts ...... so disregard !
( but if you had a hard surface to the right , dragging a 'plank' across the surface would show you your problems)0
