No Claims Discount Question
Comments
-
You need to refer to your policy.0
-
But in general it will be a percentage.0
-
As above, it will be in your policy.
Generally you lose two years plus get nothing for the current year so if you started with 4 years you end up with two (rather than 5) when you come to renew0
-
If you have for example 4 years no claims built up and then have to make a claim, do you lose all 4 years no claims or do they just remove a percentage ?
 Thanks
 What class of insurance?
Motor, you'd normally lose 2 years and so go back to 2 years if you are currently on 4
Home (and most others) will normally result in losing all of it.
NCD is not a universal concept and so you do need to check the wording of your own policy to double check0
-
And remember it's a No Claim Discount, not a No Blame Discount. If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0
