made first DVD video and need some guidance

Sorry Donnie be patient with me, I am getting carried away and not paying attention in my eagerness to do this stuff. I missread your question and updated from with my existing program using the number you gave me. I thought that would do it as it seemed once the number was in it updated loads where as before it seemed as up to date as possible. I am now downloading from the website link you gave and will tell you what I have at the end if you can put up with me a little longer.

Incidently with pass through I was able to select DV-AVI in WMM even though the recording was from an analogue tape and it was noticeably better.

If I capture to DV-AVI using pass through, does it matter what program I use as long as its DV-AVI or will it come out differently in different programs, ie at the moment I favour WMM for some of the editing and it will allow me to capture to DV-AVI with this method, but I know WMM may not be the best video editing program over all?

Ok Donnie it got in a mess so I removed everything Nero I had and installed from the link http://www.nero.com/nero7/eng/nero7-demo.php , you gave me fresh and under Nero Product Setup under License to see what is installed I have Nero 7 Ultra Edition with the code you gave next to it as that is the same one given when you install from the net, and Nero 7 Essentials. Not sure if essentials should be there too but I made sure I removed every trace of nero I had before from ADD/REMOVE and in Program files, but in any case when ever I now start any part of Nero, nothing comes up with Essentials, it only appears here in the License bit.

And yes I have got the features you mention, these can be seen in the update window listed in the same order where it shows what I have now, not that I have done any update.

I just hope it still all works ok after the 15 day trial period. something must happen after this 15 days.
