sold wrong item twice in 3 days... currys

Options
So sunday I went to currys to purchase a new TV, I bought a tv and left the store with it, only to discover when I got home I had been sold the wrong tv, while I was happy with the model I received, it turned out to be faulty, so I returned it today to get the tv I originally purchased (having already explained over the phone I had been given the wrong tv, they had no problem with the model number being different on receipt) and I leave the store with the new TV, again through my own fault, I discover that the tv was yet again the wrong one and in fact £30 cheaper than what I paid) this was after opening it, even though it's my fault as well as theirs, do they have to replace it for me? And has anyone had any luck getting any sort of goodwill gesture out of currys? Because having to carry a 40 inch TV to currys and back to go back again (on foot, as i dont drive) is a major inconvenience and im hoping they may do some kind of goodwill thing..

As in, the TV I was charged for, and that is on the receipt is completely different to the one i was given, completely different model TV with less features. And as stated this is the second time I have been given the wrong one :P

Sorry i should have clarified that i had in fact been charged for a completely different tv to the one i received

All TVs will have a code on the box eg 40BGH5000 . Surely you notice at the time of purchase?

the box was the same box, and as I'd heard the guy who sorted it for me say clearly the model number down the phone to the guy in the warehouse, didn't think I'd have to check... especially since this was the second time, and he'd said down the phone "make sure it's the right one"

Basically all I would like to know is, since they gave me the wrong product, do they have to exchange it for me despite the fact that the box has been opened?

I'd suggest getting a full refund and buying it from somewhere that actually has an interest in customer service.
