Gorenje friedge freezer, warm inside fridge

I have a Gorenje fridge freezer which is about 9 years old now.
The other day the freezer door was left open, probably because thick ice builds up right at the top , preventing the top drawer from going all the way in.
Anyway after i sorted this i noticed the fridge was warm inside.
I defrosted the freezer overnight so it was completely switched off for about 10 hours.
When i switched it on, the freezer started working fine but the fridge is cold at the back at the top, but the middle section at the back feels warm almost hot to touch.
the bottom section at the back of the fridge is cool but not cold
The fridge is totally sealed inside, there are no vents in it so my guess is the cooling works by cooling the back of the fridge only..
Frost would occasionally built up on the back of the fridge before and you would need to turn it down to defrost it and the water would drain away through a hole tiny hole at the back / bottom.
This hole isnt blocked.
The freezer is also totally sealed inside.
I had a look at the back but the condenser is screwed on and takes up nearly the full height of the fridge freezer, but also there doesnt look to be any access panels underneath it.
Any ideas?
