8 days ago quite a big box was left on my doorstep addressed to someone else but at my address. I emailed supplier who asked me to take it to PO. I refused as it's quite heavy and bulky. They said they would contact person it was meant for and lmk but I've heard nothing else from them. I also contacted courier who eventually replied giving me a premium number to phone to arrange collection! I haven't phoned! Where do I stand? I don't see why I should spend my time and money sorting out their problems but am fed up with seeing it in my hallway!

I would be tempted to put it back outside and hope someone helps themselves to it! But that's not recommended.
The sensible option would be to write to the supplier, give them a reasonable time to collect it (say 10 days) and state that you will dispose of it if they do not collect it within that time.You had me at your proper use of "you're".0 -
Believe me I am tempted to do just that!! It bugs me that one is honest and does the right thing but they just take the proverbial! Both sender and courier have known since last Monday and have done nothing about it! Daft thing is they put a card thro door with 'left in a safe place' ticked! I was also in at the time so don't know how I didn't hear a knock or doorbell!0

If you wish to dispose of it, theres a set procedure you need to follow - including sending 2 written notices containing certain details.

Remember to include a list of times and dates you are available, requesting that they contact you in advance to let you know which time slot they will be picking it up.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
well you could always open the box and see if there's any contact details on any invoice that might be there.2014 Target;

I think I'd open the box and look for an invoice, as it will hopefully belong to someone local.
Do not call any premium rate numbers. Also, you should not be inconvenienced by them picking it up - it needs to be at a time when you are available, and you shouldn't have to wait in all day - a 2 hour time slot should be reasonable.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
