How to enter: To enter the competition, entrants must fully complete the online entry form or Facebook app and upload a recent picture of them wearing glasses to the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year 2014 website. Entries will only be included in the competition if received by Specsavers after 31 March 2014 and before midnight on 13 July 2014. Specsavers accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted or not received for any reason. Late, illegible, or inappropriate entries will not be accepted. Proof of posting or transmission will not be proof of receipt. Only one entry per person. No purchase is required.
How the competition works: First round: all entries will be screened and a judging panel will shortlist entrants, based on a number of criteria including their appearance in glasses, from each region and each age category before 26 July 2014 (shortlisted entrants). Second round: Shortlisted entrants will be invited to attend a Specsavers store for a photocall (regional finals) at a time and date of Specsavers choosing. The judging panel will select one entrant from each age category from the regional finals based on a number of criteria including their general performance at the photocall before the 12 September 2014 (finalists). Third round: the finalists (along with a finalist from Ireland) will be invited to attend the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year 2014 awards in London on 7 October 2014 and will need to be available that day and the day before the awards to take part in preparations. At the awards a final winner from the UK (including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man) and Ireland finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges, based on a number of criteria including having a strong overall marketability, their appearance in glasses and general performance, to be crowned the Spectacle Winner of the Year 2014 (overall winner).
Prizes: The overall winner wins £10,000, a one-week all-inclusive holiday to the Bahamas courtesy of Grand Lucayan (holiday) and £1,000 eyecare voucher to spend at a nominated Specsavers store*. The holiday consists of two economy return flights from London to the Bahamas and seven nights' accommodation in an Ocean View Lanai Suite at the Grand Lucayan for two adults. The holiday is valid from 1 November 2014 to 30 September 2015, excluding school holidays and bank holidays, and must be booked before 31 July 2015. Reservations are subject to availability. Grand Lucayan will contact the overall winner to book the holiday and reserves the right to change the dates of the holiday up until the arrival date. The overall winner and his/her travel companion must hold a valid passport and visa (where necessary) for the dates of travel. The prize does not include any transfers, travel insurance, spending money or any incidental costs, other than as stated. The travel companion must be aged 18 or above. The finalists will win for them and a guest (must be aged 18 years or over if accompanying a finalist under the age of 18) a trip to London to attend the awards. The trip includes return economy travel by rail or air to and from London plus a two-night stay (on 6 and 7 October 2014) at a four star hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. The finalists will receive a style makeover before the awards. Each finalist will receive a Specsavers goody bag, including a £150 Specsavers eyecare voucher*. The shortlisted entrants at the regional photocalls will be presented with a Spectacle Wearer of the Year 2014 regional and age category certificate, a bottle of Champagne (if 18 years or over) and a £150 Specsavers eyecare voucher*.
*Vouchers are not be used in conjunction with any other Specsavers offer, limited to prescription glasses only and subject to all other terms and conditions printed on the voucher.

This has definitely been posted before as I entered it back in May as I specifically remember asking my nephew to take a picture of me wearing my glasses when they came to visit. I can't find it though so maybe they're running it on even more websites so not sure what to search forPositivity is the key to success0
