I believe tinnitus is affecting me, but have not have it checked out, just came back from a holiday to Turkey, don't no why but this horrible background bus disappeared completely when away, sadly it has now come back again.
So for some people flying may not do any harm.

I've tried to see if there's any patterns with my tinnitus, and apart from the sound being more whiny after a day at work, I've concluded there's no real pattern.

It'll be interesting to see what happens when I'm on holiday. My theory is, that people are busy seeing new places and doing new things when they are away, so they don't notice their tinnitus so much, so it seems better.

But whatever I'm hearing, I'm pretty sure it's not 'The Hum'!

My audiologist always asks whether I hear my noises when on holiday.

With tinnitus it is a case of learning to ignore it, so being busy and interested in stuff of holiday is probably the answer.

I know a couple of people who have had tinnitus for many years. When they stopped taking any food or drink with Aspartame in it their tinnitus was gone within a month. Worth checking what you are eating especially diet food and drink
I like to give people as many choices as possible to do what I want them to. (Milton H Erickson I think)
