Have you only got one POPLA code for two PCNs?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
Hi coupon ad,
I appealed for both PCNs the rejection letter only references one and I gave one POPLA code.
Do you think they are treating them separately?
Should I only appeal to POPLA on the PCN that they have referenced in their rejection letter? Don't want the other to get missed!!0 -
Did anyone read my amended draft? I want to upload today so I don't miss the deadline but would really appreciate someone taking a quick look0
-
each rejection should have had a popla code and the pcn number on it
so check which of the two has this code and use the popla appeal you pasted above, complain to excel that you have not received a popla code for the other pcn , then use the same popla appeal for the second one which will have a different popla code
send in that draft for the one you have, you dont want to miss any deadlines
include the actual pcn number in your appeal, the date of the problem parking charge , and the popla code etc0 -
Aaaagh! Just entered the verification code and it is saying invalid contact operator that issued it!
This means by the time I get that sorted I will have missed the deadline0 -
try a different browser
and if you had read the NEWBIES thread like we asked, it clearly states to check the popla code using the parking cowboys checker first too - to ensure its valid
so check it, if its ok try a different browser on the popla website
ps:- your appeal header should look like this added to your popla appealPOPLA Reference Number:
Vehicle Reg:
PPC: Excel Parking Ltd.
PCN Ref:
Alleged Contravention Date & Time: 09/xx/14
Date of PCN: 23/xx/140 -
I did read the newbie thread but didn't check the code as Excel are a member of BPA
Have checked now and it's valid according to the checker but POPLA site is still saying invalid.
Have tried in Safari browser and Internet Explorer.
Will try another laptop and hope that works. Not sure what to do otherwise!0 -
try firefox or slimbrowser or opera
in future , never assume a code is valid, there have been many failures or errors by these companies , hence the checker0 -
OK got the code to work in google chrome.
POPLA asks me to tick a checkbox relating to my grounds for appeal.
Do I just ignore this or do i need to select something?
Sorry I cant see anything that tells me about this bit!0 -
