Hi,
OH brought ticket to and from kent on the above website.. they sent 2 x ticket from kent to home. So rang them up they said send the one ticket and they will refund and can take a week so again had to pay the one way ticket today while it was still cheap as they wouldnt send the correct one.
Now i heard they they charge you 10 for admin on refund charge is this correct i lose 10 quid because of their misake.
Also can i take the tickets to local station instead and get refunded??

Does the confirmation show the correct routing? If so, there should be no admin charge.0

Because that would mean two tickets were in circulation for the same journey and one could be used fraudulently
There shouldn't be an admin fee in these circumstances.
Using thetrainline is a bad idea anyway - they put a (n admittedly small) surcharge on the price of the tickets which most other vendors wouldn't charge
Your local station would be unable to refund and if they could would certainly charge the admin fee0 -

Your biggest mistake was using the trainline.com in the first place.0

They won't charge you an admin fee and if the replacement tickets were more expensive, then they will refund those instead of the cheaper, initial ones you purchased.
It's always best to just go ticket on departure (collect at kiosk or whatever they call it) when you get your tickets, that way you can collect them yourself and be sure that you have all the tickets in hand.0
