Fixed Energy Bills

Yes, they can increase or decrease the direct debit (is that what you mean by direct payment?) - it's the kwh prices and standing charges that are fixed.0

Yes mine goes up and down dependant upon usage .
The price is fixed but not your usage that will vary dependant upon the weather . Charge DD at the start is an estimate not a fixed price .The key facts of a fix is that the standing charge and cost perKW hour are fixed . Not the amount you decide to use .0 -
Can anyone tell me if an Energy company can increase your Direct payment before the end of a fixed term ?
Yes. Why do you ask?
You don't really think you can use all you want and the supplier not be able to charge you in accordance with the tariff you agreed to do you?
If you end up using less than you anticipated, they will probably reduce the monthly amount.0
