Champneys Gift Vouchers and closed branch

Hello
I bought my mum £100 of gift vouchers for Mothers Day this year from the Brighton branch. I was walking past the branch on Friday to only find that it has closed down.
My mum has not had a chance to use the vouchers yet and Champneys are refusing to refund them saying they can still be used at any other branch (the nearest ones being at least an hour away) or online to purchase products.
Does anyone know what my legal rights are here? I bought these as a gift for my mum to have a relaxing day out but the thought of her having to travel at least an hour each way to use them makes them pretty pointless.
Any help appreciated.

The short answer is no they do not have to refund.
Relates to Christmas, but still applies all year round.

An hour each way really isn't too onerous. If it was my mam, she'd be very happy to get away somewhere a bit further and combine it with a nice meal out somewhere.
As said above, you have no legal rights.0
