PCN for not displaying permit

Hi all

Hoping that you can help. I got a ticket in Westminster for:

"parked in a residents or shared use parking place or zone without either clearly displaying a valid permit or voucher or pay and display ticket issued for that place or without payment of the parking charge - residents bay"

I have only just applied for a permit on my new car, and was given a temp permit to print out that lasts 2 weeks. However as a loose a4 sheet, it fell off the dash when I parked it up, and I hadn't noticed when leaving my car.

From what I have seen, there doesn't seem to be any chance of getting off these PCN's for not displaying permit. But what about temp permits?

Thanks

    Who issued the PCN?

Is it a PENALTY Charge Notice or a PARKING Charge Notice?

And are you the registered keeper? Also if private parking are you or the vehicle living in England or Wales ?

  • Thanks for the quick reply... Sorry it is a penalty charge notice issued by Westminster council.

I am the registered keeper, and it was on a public road :(

Okay would advise posting this on https://www.pepipoo.com as well, they are the experts in the field. They will need to see both sides of your PCN so scan/photo it, redact personal info and host it on tinypic.com. Then place the links in the new thread you create.

Probably best to take this to Pepipoo. Read the forum guidelines before creating a post there.

    Edit: SNAP! :D
  • Great thanks guys... Will post it up there! Fingers crossed
