Advice on lowering existing credit card rates

in Credit cards
My partner and I have accrued £26K on 6 credit cards. We tried to get a personal loan but as we'd missed some monthly payments no-one would help us. Don't have much confidence in dealing with credit card companies but can someone give me on advice as to how to get lower rates so I'm not just paying the minimum in a month but actually starting to reduce my debts.
Thanks

With recent missed payments, this is not going to be likely.
You'll need to get the debt down a little, before you're considered better risk IYSWIM.

Welcome to MSE ...can someone give me on advice as to how to get lower rates...
I'm afraid if it were that easy, everyone would be doing it. Just have to throw everything you can at the card with the highest rate and pay the minimum on the others. Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??
