Hi,
If you use a Moneybookers site, such as Skrill, for gambling money can this affect your credit rating?
Thanks for any help you can give.

As far as I'm aware, it's the same as though you asked this question about PayPal. They're not a creditor, you're not borrowing any money from them. They're just an intermediary that are helping you accept/send payments.
In short, no it won't affect your credit rating.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0 -

However if you were to try to get a loan/mortgage through your bank, they might well look at your spending record and decline due to gambling activity. There have been several threads on MSE where this has happened.0 -

Would suck to think the bank would look down on me for profiting (albeit with risk) from betting a couple of quid once every few weeks. That's like punishing someone for buying a lottery ticket.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. As I understand it, my spending shouldn't show up gambling activity as that is what the moneybookers is for.0 -
