Nationwide credit card application - accepted?

Hi all - I've just applied for a Nationwide CC and was quoted a £4,000 limit at 19.9%.
I then completed the application and ended up on a screen that said:
I already have a Nationwide current account, although it's not my main day to day current account, so I don't think ID will be a problem.
The reason I applied was that I've been rebuilding my credit history for around 8/9 months with a Cap1 card at 34.9% and am wanting to carry on doing the same (ie a low value monthly purchase paid off in full each month) but on a non-subprime card going forward, if possible.
So, does that screen above mean I've been accepted, or could the application still go awry somewhere along the line? Anyone else been here before with Nationwide?
Thx.
I then completed the application and ended up on a screen that said:
"Thank you for your application, in the next few days you will receive your Credit Agreement by post. Please ensure you sign and return this agreement within 14 days of receipt.
Should identification be required, we will ask for this to be taken to your local branch.
Once we have received the required documentation, and provided that your personal details have not changed, you should receive your Credit Card within a further 10 working days."

It looks like you have been accepted, if you weren't then I don't think they would quote you a limit or send an agreement.
I could be wrong though.Littlewoods £0/£750

I have never seen a credit card company quote a limit if they were going to reject you. Unless things have changed.Littlewoods £0/£750

When I applied for a Nationwide FlexPlus account about 3 weeks ago I was offered a Select Credit Card as well, so I went ahead with the application and was given an Accepted In Principle decision, I was then asked to sign a Digital Online Credit Agreement by ticking the signature box on the Credit Agreement, on the final screen it did say they'd been in touch if they required further information but if all was well I'd have my paperwork and cards within 10 days, which I now have.
Like QuietOne said it does look as though you have been accepted but they may just want to check everything is correct.0 -
Yep, I've read a ton of posts about Nationwide credit card applications and how they work (including the quotes for rates and limits) and people seem to get either an explicit rejection message or an explicit acceptance message.
Maybe they've changed the wording - mine suggests acceptance, but doesn't actually say it. Or does it?
I guess I'll just have to wait to see what comes in the post!0 -
I got the exact same message as you and received my acceptance a few days later, signed and sent back same day, then received my card and pin a few days later. So yes its safe to assume you have been accepted..
