1650mm bath supplier?

crankup

We are replacing our 60s bathroom but have a problem with the bath size. The existing one is 1650mm. All I can find our 1700mm, the odd 1800mm and a 1500mm. The bathroom is small and the bathspace is fixed.
Anyone know where I might get a standard bath of this length?
Thanks...

1600 and 1700 are the most standard baths but visit your local plumbers merchant as you can still get 1650mm baths. One manufacture that will makes them is Bette.
Some may just be 1600mm baths with a bigger surround.0 -
I appreciate the reply robv, cheers.
I've been told today that my current bath is an imperial-sized one coming in at 5'6". So thats about 1676mm or something like that.
I've found one at 1678mm so far.
Surely some of the plumbers/bathroom fitters on here have had to supply imperial sized baths in recent times?
Thanks.*************************

Thought I'd share the outcome of this hunt.
I toured the local merchants, pretty lame really.
Plumbworld - "Cant get em - only 1500, 1600 or 1700."
City Plumbing - "I can get one at 1680 - £180+VAT though."
Delta Plumbing - "None that size listed here mate".
The 180+VAT was a bit scarey. I searched for 1680mm online and found
http://www.bathrooms4sale.com who listed the true diameters of all their baths.
Although they say 1700mm, most are slightly shorter and vary. This place had the foresight to list the true sizes of all their baths and had a few at 1680mm to choose from. Just the job. We ordered the whole lot from 'em.

Hi,
I had the same problem as crankup with a lack of bath supplier. Instead I am toying with the idea of purchasing a 1600mm bath to fit and then tiling the 5 cm gap between the bath and the wall. The questions I have is what material to use to fill the gap?
Cheers0 -
It's quite common to have a bath that is 5 cm bigger than the space and they cut out the wall slightly to fit it. We had this done in our bathroom with an 1800mm bath into a 1750mm space. It was quite easy as both walls were just plasterboard.0

Chase out the wall at 25mm each end and fit a 1700mm bath, it's quite normal.
It also secures the bath, nothing worse than a wobbly bath....0 -
Thanks for the prompt reply both of you, it would appear that I have made a slight error....
I took off the bath panel and low and behold it is as both of you suggested, actually a 1700mm bath :embarasse oops!0 -
Bette do a model called Starlett in 1650 by 700 - cost 550 from bathroom experience.
Its a German company and it has been sold to me as the rolls royce of baths- I just wanted a nice cheap bath but there isnt much choice out there in 1650mms
Would have been much cheaper to cut the wall away but it was already tiled0 -
