Neighbour popped over earlier with some chocs and flowers which was lovely and as she was leaving said she was not going back to the shops as they were evil and she didn't care if her carrots were bendy! LOL. I didn't think it would be polite to ask her to expand!

Good afternoon, late in today as Sister was panicking about getting her train. She is well on her way now so thats good. Went out for some last minute food stuff after. DD1 is on her way over with all her presents to wrap up so its going to be a manic few hours.

I hope you gutters are OK Sheils, its a worry when its raining heaving all the time. Hope it clears up for you soon. Its really dark here and needing the lights on.

Afternoon everyone hope you are all well and organised for Santa hate last minute panicks so I make a list .Breathing a bit better thank god. Just waiting on son picking up turkey and bits to go with it so that it is all defrosted in time. He has a spare fridge freezer in garage so can go out there save on hogging fridge in kitchen. Received a card this morning from postie saying they couln,t deliver a letter to me as there is a fee to pay on it £1.11 will get son to run me down to depot as it is just down the road. Got a feeling someone has posted something and not put a stamp on it. So will find out what it is before paying.

Sounds like everyone has been busy!
It stopped raining here this afternoon so managed to have a walk at last.
