Had to nip out for milk and a huge train of lorries with big trailers passed looks like the circus is in town not seen it advertised anywhere. Not the same nowadays though no animals which is quite right but not keen on clowns and trapeeze acts which it mostly consists of nowadays.

Bella - have you tried Lidl's luxury muesli with fruit and nuts? Its lovely with yoghurt for breakie. I have been trying to be extra good the last few weeks so I don't have to worry too much about eating nice things on holiday.

Thanks Sylvia - unfortunately I have to stay clear of a lot of fruit and nuts with my Crohn's as they irritate my bowels! Love yogurt though and often have a Greek yogurt with honey and those Activia drinks for good bacteria! You should defo throw any diets out of the window when on holiday though as I believe holidays are for spoiling yourself! :)

FF those pancakes sound delicious! The kids have had ice-cream after their lunch to cool down as it feels so close today! It has clouded over but it feels so warm in the house, even with the windows open! I have been watching the Oscar Pistorius trial this morning but it has finished now until tomorrow morning due to witnesses not being available! The judge wasn't too happy as the trial has already gone on for much longer than first planned! So this afternoon we are meeting up with my parents for a walk along the beach. The kids want to paddle and I have said yes to the eldest 3 but no to my youngest DD because she still is pale after her recent bout of sickness. If she catches a chill from the cold sea, she might get worse again!

Nice and quiet on the comping boards today - I prefer it that way on a bank holiday! A day to chill!

doesn't seem quite the same nowdays & in a way i'm glad they don't have them any more,
always used to feel sorry for them having to be travelling about & being in cages :(:o

Of course it is Weeowen yorkies are just as good with lamb as they are with beef. Did you throw in half a bottle of wine as planned then?

Gosh everyone is more interested in food than comps today!
I like Yorkshires with my lamb too weeowens.

I have been getting pancakes for breakfast in Holiday Inns when we have been away which is really nice. Given me the idea of puting banana on them with the syrup next time.

Wish it was warm here Bella. It is dry though which is something.

I am off to make a steak pie now.
