been in & out in between the showers tying up the sweet peas as they got flattened with the heavy rain :eek:

LOL Agreed - a fella like that could fill my pie with whatever he liked

Rained here nearly all day and been quite cool and blustery too! I made a nice chicken stew this afternoon too - which we enjoyed for our dinner and now I am relaxing with a nice glass of rose!

Well done on the win Bella.

Sun still shining away here. DH made us roast pork tonight (reduced in Tesco) and it was lovely, just melted in the mouth. We have just drank a bottle of rose wine with it too. Having coffee now.

Thanks Bella - we have been together over 22 years and married 19 on 6th July. He does spoil me sometimes but I spoil him too. Wish he could do DIY though.

Your tea sound lovely Sheils. We have just had a jacket spud with cheese and beans as we need to go shopping tomorrow.

Glad you managed to sort your sweet peas out firefly, its such a shame when they get battered by the rain. It has battered a lot of mine plants today as well.

Some good pics from you today Bella and could just eat your chicken stew as well.

My Aldi vouchers arrived today which is good so will go and spend some of them tomorrow.

Your DH sounds brilliant and perfect sheils It's nice to have someone to cook for you! DH only ever really cooks sausage or bacon.

I'm sure your pies were lovely sax and well done for attempting them

Well I didn't get short listed for job but there were 160 applicants! They said I did get to second stage but not to short list though. Oh well, maybe next time! I will stop dreaming of that hol next year now!
