Good Morning all

Well after having 2.5 years off work to bring up my DD, I've been back to work for 2 months and had to ring in sick today!! Not been ill for years. I have caught DDs conjunctivitis, I feel like the elephant man, have a head cold also. DH has taken daughter to nursery for me so I'm having the morning in bed feeling sorry for myself!

I'm normally an upbeat person and hate being unwell, feel guilty not going to work but I work in a hospital and conjunctivitis is contagious.

Looked at the adverts, only entered a few, most didn't interest me at all.

Dr says nothing can be done with my ear and nothing to worry about and should sort itself out. I have to try and pop it a few times a day :eek:

Hi all, long time since I popped in here!


Hope all are well and keeping up with the madness of the 1st December.


Is it just me or is anyone else underwhelmed by the advents this year? Not finding many I actually want to enter so far. Very few decent prizes on offer.


Also don't seem to be able to use smilies?? What's that about?

It's my first time for the ads and I'm not that impressed to be honest, though I don't do the Facebook or twitter ones so not so many to choose from.

Thanks, will do a few. I only do FB app ones and no Twitter/rafflecopter etc.


I did OK last year, got a few nice wins but won't spend much time on them this time, I found I actually won more from the regular comps maybe because everyone was concentrating on Advents?

Hi everyone, just a quick pop in. Haven't event looked at the advents yet or done any comping the last 2 day. Its always busy at DD's with loads of tidying up to do. Also have the rest of the family to visit while we are here.

Hope you ear gets better soon, its horrid having ear problems.

Have a good res kitten and don't go back to work until it has cleared.

Ooh Sheils, that sounds nasty your ear infection. I hate the feel of the ears popping on an aeroplane so can imagine how you must feel xx

Got a red card in today too. I don't think I've ordered anything so hoping it's a win! I get it on Thursday when DH is in to get it.
