Looking nice here this morning. Forecast looking good for this week so have been naughty and booked Tuesday night away near Ullswater. We love it there and it will take our minds off Xmas presents. Have to try and sort out advents tomorrow so I can enter a few while away!

Sounds like you had a successful day yesterday FF.

Had to laugh at you sleeping in for carpet delivery and the smelly feet wingo.

Have a safe journey and enjoy yourself Sylvia .

Strange day so far; two large packages rolled up at the door, delivery man with just enough English to tell me he was Hungarian and didn't speak English. That's fine I have no problem with free movement within the EEC, I was expecting some parcels and they do deliver on Sundays these days. After he left I noticed they were not addressed to me but to a similar address which has confused delivery people before. The delivery note is all in Hungarian and the two boxes according to the outside contain 8 pairs of size 7 Dunlop Wellington boots and 20 kg of fungicide.

I managed to track down the website of the shipper - directory enquiries couldn't help me with the addressee - and with aid of Google translate I established they are indeed a Hungarian company which specialises in shipping goods to the UK.

I have emailed and messaged via their facebook page asking them to arrange collection.

In 30 days I may be the proud owner of eight pairs of wellington boots and a lot of fungicide.

Delivery man just came back and collected the parcels, his entire conversation consisted of 'okay okay' - phew I wasn't looking forward to storing them!

    lol at this.
Some folk are going to have a lovely Christmas morning receiving a pair of size 7 wellies and I feel sorry for whoever is getting the Fungicide.
Also lol at door answering with bedhead and PJ's - done that a couple of times as there is one delivery bloke who turns up here occasionally between 7am - 7.55am, NEVER at 8am and he must pee himself laughing afterwards at the state I'm in *eeepp*
BTW been struggling for the last few days to do some comping. We've been to London and came back Thursday but I can't get myself motivated to do anything. I'm even towing looking through the comping pages. It hasn't helped that I've been feeling rather anxious and stressed out for some reason and it's knocked me for six. At least my Advent list is more or less done. I'm hoping I might perk up tomorrow.

Good luck with the advents dontone :) I'm taking each day as it comes, if I have time for them I will try! :D

That's a strange parcel to get Dreaming_ :D I think I already had the fungicide in my house on Friday with sons friends stinky feet! :p Be careful you don't get charged for that parcel though as there was a scam last year where parcels were delivered and you signed for it then they came back saying it was wrong address but people were getting charged for iPads etc!
    Love the pic :A

Good on yer sheils booking another break :T Hope you get your Xmas pressies in :)

Glad the day went well fire**fly and you managed to sell all your jars and herbs :) Good luck with the advents tomorrow ;)

Enjoy your trip to your DD's Sylvia :) Safe journey and hope weather is nice too xx

I just watched a Christmas Carol again while doing ironing :) I do love that film!
