Yeah FF! You puddle jumped! My kids were warned before we left the house - that if they jumped into any puddles on the way to school, then they would have to sit in school all day wearing soggy wet clothes because I wasn't taking any spare skirts or trousers! Luckily they obeyed!
It rained here until about 11.00am then it stopped and all the paths are dry! We were forecast to have rain all day but the sun is peeping through and I see blue sky too! So the weather man was wrong yet again!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

LOL Yes, my kids are canny! My sister rang me earlier though to vent about her 11 year old son! He likes to walk to school with his friends while she walks with her 6 year old daughter and the baby in the buggy. Anyway, she sent her son off in his waterproofs because it was pouring but when she arrived at the school with her two other children, she spotted him without his waterproof looking like a 'drowned rat'! She was fuming and went over to tell him off in front of his friends! His excuse was 'Oh mam, but non of my friends were wearing waterproofs!' LOL
Mind you it reminds me when I was younger and attending middle and high school.....as soon as I got round the corner and out of view of my parents house, up came the skirt, out came the blouse (it was the in thing to have a short skirt and wear your blouse un-tucked) and off came the coat - even in Winter! Then on arrival at school, it was straight to the girls loos to touch up the make up and re-do the hair!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

Lol Bella @ your nephew! My son did almost the same this morning. He was all for wearing his school coat when he saw the rain until 4 of his friends turned up at the door with no coat on!
One of the kids in our school aim for the puddles, mud, dog poo or whatever is on the path in front of him!
Well done on your freebie wins Sheils & fire**fly :j I got 4 of my fanimals today!
Nice of you to give the pampers to your DIL rose
Well no news is good news regarding job interview. Some were told today they haven't been short listed but I haven't so fingers crossed! I do feel a bit awkward though if I have been short listed and others haven't!
Love the pics everyoneBig thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Ohhh FF! You blow and I'll suck! (the thunder and lightening I mean lol!) I want some! Our rain stopped at 11am and none since!
