Not noticed any ladybirds around outside here firefly but haven't been in the garden apart from to hang washing out today as been busy with GS.
Sorry to hear about the excess on the house insurance, even pay out £350 is a lot to put out before Christmas.
Having a nice jacket spud tonight with cheese etc.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
 that doesn't sound good euro
hope we'll all be ok
we're having jacket spuds as well tonight sylv :j
just been taking the potato out & mixing it with
cheese so can put them back in the oven later :drool:please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Thank god it was just a hoax! Can't be done with a blackout before Xmas!
Yes the ladybirds are becoming a nuisance as they're everywhere! I think we have a colony of them outside above French doors.
No Postie today. Had that sales woman on phone again asking about 'my recent car accident' I got a bit abrupt with her as she phoned at a bad time! I said I've never had a car accident and don't drive so stop bothering me!
Just had fajiitas for tea and got some apple pie for later.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

maybe all the ladybirds will fly off if/when we get a cold snap, hope so for you wingo,
don't blame you being a bit abrupt with the sales woman!
I've been sometimes a bit rude to them in the past
as well:eek:
it does help being on the TPC but some still get through!
fajitas sound lovely :j
& yummy at the apple pieplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Sorry about your flood wingo. You really have to watch the excesses
as having them high doesn't always bring the cost down that much.
We don't have loads of ladybirds here or if we did they will have drowned! Supposed to be ok tomorrow though.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Funny thing is when I shopped around for insurance that seemed the most decent with £100 excess and everything I needed to add at a good price. I just carried on with it last year but I didn't know they had changed the burst pipe bit to £350 excess!
I always shop around for insurance too.
Think we're gonna have to bite the bullet and get more on mortgage or something to sort everything out. Roof has been leaking again tonight so looks like we will have to replace that. DH is probably making it worse getting up there all the time.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
There is always something wingo.
See the Express is predicting an Arctic winter again - they will have to be right one of these days!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
