Oh my giddy aunt!
Just been down the side of the house, sorting out recycling for tomorrow and I swear there was a spider of the end-u genus menacing me *faint*
Now I know last week folk here were talking about spiders, and Jnr had mentioned that it was a good year for the beasties (according to The Guardian) but really! I never expected to see such a big one!
Ooofh, I thought I was quite fearless but this one definitely had muscles "The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming"0 -

I just felt this needed an apology...it started to sound a touch Benny Hill LOL. :rotfl:"The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,

Oh Dreams, no need to apologise there are some huge, huge spider about at the moment. They scare me witless.
Forgot to say, when I went to Morrisons at the weekend I got some fruit juice and 2 pks of Wiltshire Ham that were £3 each BOGOF. When I got to the till they came up as £5 so I queried this. They went off as they do to look and came back and said yes I was right and they should be £3 for 2. The assistant tried to sort it out but the machine was having none of it so they said 'you can have these on us' so I got the 2 pkts for nothing. Now that was the Real Deal.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

WTG! Now that was a win! I bet that ham tasted extra delicious because of that
Also am glad I'm not alone in my fear of the spiders. I actually get cross at myself especially when I calm down and compare my size with a spiders! I am silly stupid when it comes to meeting strange dogs, you know straight on my knees billing and cooing in a silly voice without once thinking they could eat my face off! But the minute I see a spider big or small I am running hell for leather, screaming my head offPathetic! :rotfl:

I am just the same except I am not keen on the big dogs. Last year I had a red card through the door so went to the PO to get it. I opened the packet and out popped this spider - about 10 inches wide - I nearly jumped out of my skin. It was for Halloween and you hung it up and pressed the button and it went up and down.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
